Job Purpose

The Laboratory Assistant supports laboratory operations by performing control tests, routine procedures, and maintenance tasks under supervision, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory control tests and routine procedures following standard protocols.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Record and report accurate test results to the supervising laboratory staff.
• Assist in sample preparation and handling to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records in line with company standards.
• Support the laboratory team in achieving operational efficiency and compliance with safety procedures.

Required Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and control tests.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording results.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
