Job Description
The Fishshop Manager is responsible for the profitable day-to-day management of the store. This role ensures excellent customer service, efficient operations, effective staff management, and strict adherence to company standards to drive sales, control costs, and maintain a high-quality retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations to achieve profitability and sales targets
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain brand standards
• Oversee staff scheduling, performance, and development
• Control stock levels, ordering, receiving, and waste management
• Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and administrative compliance
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and health and safety standards
• Implement promotions and merchandising strategies to maximise sales
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail or food service management
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Sound understanding of sales, cost control, and profitability
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
